Privacy Policy

This policy covers the public Zwaj website and the member app. It explains the information we handle, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using the site or creating an account you confirm that you have read and understood this policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the service.

• Account data: your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored in an encoded form inside a Zwaj-owned security layer built on the strongest encryption standards, and nobody — our own team included — can read them in plain text.
• Profile data: age, gender, marital status, whether you have children, country and city, nationality, languages, religious-practice details, height and weight, a short bio, the description of the partner you are looking for, photos and username.
• Usage data: interest requests, conversations and session status (signed in or not).
• Technical data: IP address and request logs needed to run and protect the service.

Some profile data may be sensitive, such as religious details, marital status or photos. You choose what to share, and you can edit it or limit its visibility from your profile settings.

• Creating your account, running your profile and authenticating sign-in.
• Suggesting compatible profiles and calculating the compatibility indicator.
• Enabling interest requests and conversations between members.
• Protecting the community from impersonation, fraud and abuse.
• Sending service messages about your account, such as verification or password resets.
• Improving site and app performance and fixing faults.

We process information to deliver the service you requested, for legitimate purposes such as protecting the platform and its members, and with your consent where it is required — for example when showing your photo according to the privacy setting you choose. You can withdraw consent at any time.

• We do not sell or trade your personal data.
• We run on hardened, enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure for hosting, databases, authentication and image storage, managed entirely inside Zwaj's own technology stack, where data is processed under the strongest security and confidentiality standards.
• We may disclose limited information where legally required, or to protect our rights and the safety of members.
• Never share financial details or login credentials with another member — we will never ask for them in a conversation.

• Session cookie: keeps you signed in. It is sealed with a private technique of our own that prevents it from being read or reached from inside the browser.
• Language cookie: remembers the language you picked (Arabic or English) so the interface matches it on the site and in the app.

We do not currently use advertising analytics or marketing trackers. If we introduce analytics later, we will update this policy before enabling them.

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. When an account is deleted we remove or anonymise profile data, photos and conversations, unless retention is required for legal reasons or to prevent abuse.

• Access and edit your profile data from inside the app.
• Change the visibility of your photo (public, on request or private) and manage interest requests.
• Ask us to delete your account and data by emailing the address below.
• Request a copy of your data or object to a specific processing activity.
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

Sign-in sessions and member data are protected by Zwaj's own security architecture, built on the strongest encryption and protection technologies available, with multiple layers guarding data in transit, at rest and during image handling.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so please use a strong, unique password and never share your login details with anyone.

The service is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger, and we delete any account shown to be in breach.

We may update this policy when the service or applicable regulations change. The updated version is published on this page with a new review date.
